Deployment options

Overview 

A Pleneo room can be set up in two ways: Local Deployment, done on-site through the Pleneo hub's built-in web interface, and Zero Touch Cloud Deployment, which sets rooms up automatically through Pleneo Cloud.

Local Deployment is reliable, works on any network, and needs no cloud connection (the on-prem deployment option). Zero Touch Cloud Deployment handles fully automated setup across many rooms.

Local Deployment

Local Deployment sets up the room on-site through Pleneo hub's built-in web interface. It works on any network, including secure or offline environments, with no cloud connection required.

How it works

• Connect the Pleneo hub to a PoE port on your network

• Open the built-in web interface

• The Pleneo hub discovers, tests, and optimizes the connected devices

• Review and adjust the setup as needed

Best for

• Networks where internet or cloud access is restricted

• Single rooms and small installations

• Rooms where you want hands-on control over the setup

Local Deployment keeps setup entirely in your hands and works reliably in secure environments.

Zero Touch Cloud Deployment

Zero Touch Cloud Deployment lets a room set itself up with no one on-site. Connect the Pleneo hub to a network with internet access, and it retrieves its configuration from Pleneo Cloud, then discovers, tests, and optimizes the room automatically.

Best for

• Multiple rooms or locations

• Distributed or international rollouts

• Central monitoring and remote management across sites
