Deploying Rooms

Typical setup time with AutoDeploy

Set up time for a Pleneo Room

Local Deployment

Deploy a Pleneo hub directly on-site using its built-in web interface. Once the Pleneo hub is on the network, it:

  1. Maps the local network

  2. Detects the connected devices, including microphones, cameras, and amplifiers

  3. Lets you assign each device to the room

  4. Runs AutoDeploy to test and tune the room

Typical setup time is around five minutes. Local Deployment works on any network, including installations without cloud connectivity, and gives you hands-on control over the setup.

Zero Touch Cloud Deployment

Zero Touch Cloud Deployment with Pleneo Cloud, a browser-based platform for defining, deploying, monitoring, and managing Pleneo Rooms, from a single site to a global rollout.

  1. Create the room in Pleneo Cloud

  2. Link the MAC addresses of the physical RoomHub devices to it

  3. Ship the hardware to the site

When the Pleneo hub is connected on-site, with internet access, it will configure itself automatically using AutoDeploy, so the only on-site step is connecting the network cable.

Setup time on site is to plug the LAN cables into the Pleneo hub, the rest is automatic.

It's designed for larger organisations and integrators managing multiple installations remotely.
