Pleneo hub does not connect to Pleneo Cloud
Steps to restore Pleneo hub's connection to Pleneo Cloud.
Overview
If Pleneo hub isn't reaching Pleneo Cloud, work through these checks in order, from local power to internet access to network policy.
Confirm that the Pleneo hub has power
Make sure LAN 1 is connected to a PoE-enabled switch; no power means no connection. See RoomHub won't power on if you're unsure.
If you're using a RoomAmp Pro X, make sure its power supply is connected. Unlike RoomHub, the RoomAmp Pro X uses an external power supply, not PoE.
Verify local operation
Open the Pleneo hub's web interface using its IP address. If it loads, it's running correctly. If it doesn't, fix local connectivity between the hub and the switch first.
Check internet access
Confirm the network port the Pleneo hub is connected to has internet access; test with another device on the same port if needed. RoomHub needs outbound internet access to reach Pleneo Cloud.
Verify network policies with IT
Ask IT to confirm:
The connection isn't filtered or restricted
Outbound HTTPS traffic (TCP port 443) is allowed
No firewall or proxy is blocking the connection
Pleneo Cloud communication uses secure HTTPS only.
In summary
Once the Pleneo hub is powered, reachable locally, and on a network with open HTTPS access, it connects to Pleneo Cloud automatically. If it still won't connect, generate a diagnostic report and contact Pleneo Support.
